Eric Johnson of E.S. Johnson Builders is happy to announce the newest Build for the Cure show home to be built in The Point, a lake front community on the shores of Lake Norman, NC.  This home is SOLD.

Build for the Cure is the charity established by Mr. Johnson that builds show homes to raise awareness and funds for the Susan G Komen Charlotte Affiliate, the global leader of the breast cancer movement. As the world’s largest grassroots network of breast cancer survivors and activists, they are working together to save lives, empower people, ensure quality care for all and energize science to find the cures.

This is the fourth Build for the Cure home to be built as others have been built on Lake Wylie, Springfield in Fort Mill and in The Ibis Club of Palm Beach Gardens,FL.

This waterfront home, designed by the Owners and Trisha Chambers of Trisha Chambers Designs, has a great design philosophy that started with the name D2 or Decade 2 in that it was designed with the lifestyle and desires of the homeowners in the second decade of this millennium.  The smaller square footage, responsible building techniques, sustainable design and it’s features all will help define what a new luxury home is today.

Groundbreaking will take place soon and the home is expected to be completed in the Spring of 2012 with the home being open for Tours.  With the show taking place in the Spring this waterfront home will be decorated with with the relaxed Lake Living it is intended for.

More to come soon, just very excited to announce another Build for the Cure Home. There will be many people that will help and support us in building this home for a worthy cause, but the first “Thank You” will go out to the Owner’s of the home who have graciously opened their hearts and their home up for us all.
