E.S. Johnson Builders is a Lake Norman Luxury Custom Home Builder and has been building and designing beautiful homes of character throughout he Lake Norman and Charlotte, NC area for over a quarter century.

Eric Johnson is originally from Rochester, New York and attended McQuaid Jesuit High School. Days after graduating Eric’s family moved to the town of Brevard, NC and he enrolled at Appalachian State University where he graduated from the Walker Business college in Economics and Finance. During the summers Eric worked as a framing contractor and landscaping contractor. Here began his love of construction and design.

After college was hired in the management program for a small regional track builder. After working for them and other small builders Eric opened his own custom home building company and that is where we are today nearly 30 years later.
